ABCDog Academy was developed by Waggin Rears founder and Certified Trainer, Darius Antalan, as a practical framework for foundational dog training. The program is built around Accountability, Behavior, Communication, Discipline and Application—the five fundamentals that connect what a dog learns during training to how those skills are carried into everyday life.
The goal is simple: master the ABCs. ABCDog Academy focuses on nine foundational cues—Name, Stay, Sit, Down, Come, Leave It, Spot, Touch, and Heel. Using the five ABCDA pillars, these nine cues are practiced for everyday communication and application. Demonstrated competency across all nine leads to ABCDA Foundational Skills Certification.
